Nitgritz Multimedia web site design logs have been online from 2003 - 2009.
12/1/09Happy HOlidays everyone! I was thrilled to make this week's Rock Paper Scissors news letter, 'The Yelpiest Gift GUide Ever! 8/1/09Breaking news tonight, around 7:30, we were cruising down Powell and took a left on Christie Ave and then ran into possibly my coolest camera phone picture opportunity to date. A street geyser rose from a broken hydrant right in front of Kinko’s in Emmeryville. Here are a few pictures I captured before they fixed it. Right place right time. 7/27/09I am proud to announce a new gallery currently showcasing 25 examples of my artwork visible on my Drupal site. I broke the categories down by collage (I define collage as anything with things glued to it), illustrations, (most pertinent section to anyone browsing for a new logo or web designer) paintings and sketches in charcoal and ink. Please check it out & feedback is very much appreciated. Here is a new Gator collage made with vintage fabric, paper and gum tooth picks, rubber cement, and gel medium or molding paste. Fine art seems to be a semi annual endeavor for me. If you like it please take a look at my fine my fine art archives and I will photograph and post more including my mobiles. 7/19/09I empowered a few of my Wordpress sites with free live chat capabilities using the WP-Live-Chat plugin. Email or contact me and let me know when you would like me to login to chat. I see Hummingbirds daily in my garden, so my dream has come to fruition. 7/3/09A flash movie record of my accent to the top of Mount Rainier in '92. This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. 6/27/09Meet writer and producer Jacob Kornbluth (if you have not already) we are still working on some of the videos but if you are a fan sign up, watch videos and comment on his new Wordpress site. 5/31/09Here is a Photoshop collage I made of my x-rays. (I am fine and never even took ballet.) It was interesting to do something from photographs again I have been so committed to illustrator and vector art. "Do what you love. When you love your work, you become the best worker in the world." 3/28/09I am so grateful to be reunited with Jessie from Alchemist Media. The book? Jessie is writing an SEO book called The Art of SEO. I also want to thank my Dad and all my old clients and coworkers and former bosses who offered their support and endorsements recently. Especially Vito of Artinterviews.com. Your letter means the world to me. "Concentration can be cultivated. One can learn to exercise will power, discipline one's body and train one's mind." 7/3/09I once climbed Mount Rainier and I wanted to share the limited pics with a flash movie I made and as a thank you to my father. 6/21/09As hold times with hosting companies can go on for hours as of late and telemarketers and the scam artists of the United States get more and more desperate and brutal, I have decided to pay it forward and post some old flash movies, offline projects and design samples that have since gone under, or had no purpose in the first place besides collaboration, hope and creativity. Do not let the negativity and climate of fear zap your potential to inspire others and your courage to create. I have rehashed a few flash and graphic projects and posted them live here on my site in hopes that people will put trust in me to make there next online endeavor beat the odds by surviving and staying online for years to come. The project done with the compact used as a video interface was a creative, collaboration for a Multimedia final. However, now it seems refreshingly optimistic and puts importance on having dreams and goals and celebrating and encouraging others to do the same, no matter how abstract. I hope this kind of video interface is something that more web site design concepts call for in the future. Following my article on government’s possible regulations on organic gardening I did notice that they are planning a vegetable garden at the White House. but they did not share what steps they may be taking to prevent salmonella or what they are looking into as far as pesticides. ;D 2/5/09 Here is a cool collage archived from the Culture of Permaculture project. This site now uses Wordpress and is a great resource for Permaculture enthusiasts. There are also some pressing issues that need to be addressed to protect the rights of organic farmers. 1/15/09I have always dreamed of owning my own fruit orchard, greenhouse and having a pet humming bird. Yesterday while on a trip to the local OSH I felt it was kismet when I found this package of seeds and hope to make this dream come true for the amazing price of $6.29. We already spotted one so now the only task is to plant and lure it back. Thanks for thinking of this Renee. In my opinion it is genius and a beautiful package design. The package contains Scarlet Runner Beans (these look like magic beans), Scarlet Flame Zinnias and Summer Charm Nasturtiums. 1/12/09For inspiration the first post of 2009 honors the “Top 10 sites for Designers according to HOW magazine. I really had fun playing with the navigation at Hi Curiosity Group and think they have a great mixed media design style. If only every site on the web was as inspired an artistic. Content management systems (including Wordpress, Drupal and Joomla!) may be the thing of the future but lets not forget points for supporting the arts in the down economy. Design Classifieds: I am trying to reconnect with Maya the owner of a great clothing company and this blindfolded Dumbo style crow logo I illustrated for her. Dear Maya,
